1. How do I find a lawyer to help me?

The court cannot refer a lawyer to you. The State Bar of Arizona maintains a list of attorneys that practice in different areas. You can look in the bar directory at a public library or, for the most current listing, go to the State Bar web site at www.azbar.org. Your county bar organization may also have an attorney referral service. If you cannot afford an attorney, you may want to contact your local legal aid office.
