INITIATIVES
IV-E Program: A
cooperative initiative between AOC, DES and the counties to increase the federal
financial participation in out-of-home care for adjudicated youth
Children's Executive
Committee: Inter-agency coordinating council of state agencies, branches of
government and service providers that reviews the system of services to children
Clinical Sub committee:
A Subcommittee of the Children's Executive Council tasked at reviewing aspects
of the clinical service network
Dually-Adjudicated Committee:
An interagency committee that reviews the needs of dually adjudicated youth
Diversity Committee: A
subcommittee of the Council of Human Service Providers with a focus of cultural
competency
COSIG Coordinating Committee:
Inter-agency and inter-governmental collaborative in association with the
University of Arizona to assess the skill level for the provision of culturally
competent services to youth with co-occurring disorders
Family Involvement
Subcommittee: An interagency committee that reviews the needs of families
served by the juvenile justice systems and provides a voice to those members
