Welcome to the Legislative Summary

This web site provides summaries with court impact statements for the legislation of interest to the court community that was passed in the  current Session of the Legislature.

The summaries are grouped into eleven general categories.  The listing for each category may be accessed using the links above at the left.  You may also access the summaries using the tables of contents above at the right, particularly if you know the bill or chapter number for the legislation you are interested in.

Throughout this web site you will find:

• The chapter number is linked to the summary and

• The bill number in the summary is linked to the bill's full text.

You will also find that these new laws can appear in multiple categories.  The identical write up will appear in each case.

We have also provided printable versions presented by category in PDF of the full document and Superior Court, Justice of the Peace Court and Municipal Court breakdowns.
