PROBATE RULES COMMITTEE
The Chief Justice,
in accordance with § 1-104 of the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration, may
establish advisory committees to assist the Arizona Judicial Council in carrying
out its responsibilities. To help ensure the effective oversight of probate
cases and to ensure protection of elderly, mentally incapacitated, and other
vulnerable persons, the Chief Justice has deemed it advisable to constitute a
committee to review and, where necessary, suggest revisions to the current rules
governing these cases. This Committee is chaired by Vice Chief Justice
Berch and staffed by AOC staff member J.R. Rittenhouse.
